This July, join us for a three-part webinar series revisiting some of the most popular sessions from the 2023 Main Street Now Conference. Practitioners from across the network will share their expertise and provide practical information on a range of perennial Main Street issues.

Get Hyped: Turn District Cheerleaders into Social Influencers

Date: Wednesday, July 12, 2023

Description: Every Main Street district has its own set of community advocates who are ready and willing to promote the district’s offerings and amenities -they just need an opportunity and some direction. This session explores how Main Street Macon capitalized on citizens’ enthusiasm around downtown Macon, GA and created an ambassador and social media influencer program to hype up downtown, known as the Downtown Macon Hype Team. Session attendees will learn how to recruit and mobilize a diverse team of community cheerleaders and leave with a scalable toolkit of resources to start their own Hype Team. Get hyped!

The Future Is Now: Main Street Development Strategies
